Hello and Happy Holidays!!!
We have been busy this season with family, festivities, and food! Penny has become a great fan of all the new sights, tastes, and sounds.  She continues to grow and now is one of the taller kids in her friend group!  She has a new favorite thing.... Mini Mouse and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She starts yelling at the top of her lungs everytime it comes on. I think  Santa has heard about her love and a giant mini mouse will make its way over here for Christmas. We hope you are well and having a good holiday.       The Stuves

Chayenne,
Hello! The Stuve Birthday Extravaganza was here! This year we decided to hold one party for all the kiddos with the theme of Where the Wild Things Are. Penny loved eating cupcakes and having people sing to her. Penny is missing the boys when they go to school but loves walking to go pick them up from the bus stop. She has a ton of new words and has developed a special liking to Minnie Mouse.  Our favorite holiday is coming up (Halloween) and we have an other family theme that we are excited to showcase soon. As always, we are wishing you well .

Chayenne,
Summer vacation is officially over. The boys headed back to school this week and Penny is sad to see them at school. She loves the school buses and enjoys picking up the boys at the bus stop. The last two months has been very busy with trips. We have gone camping, visited with family and took a trip to Durango.
Our big news is that two weeks ago we potty trained Penny!!!! She has never liked being wet (she hates to be cold) so we went cold turkey and she loves being a big girl. We still use pull ups for nap and night but that is expected at her age. We are looking forward to next month and celebrating everyone's birthday. As always hope you are well and we will post again soon!

Chayenne,
Hello! The summer has been going by very quickly, and we have been VERY busy!! We have spent a lot of time with both sides of the family and having lots of adventures. We just got spent two days camping in the Gila wilderness, and plan on making a trip to Santa Fe next weekend. We have been hiking, swimming and visiting museums. Penny has taking very well to the traveling, and continues to impress us with her adaptability to new situations.  As always hope you are well!
Dino fun! Penny was not scared of any of the dinosaurs, but she did not like the volcano display.
                                                                Our hiking adventure

Grandpa came to visit from Hawaii. Penny loved him!
Daddy graduated with a Master's degree, and then we celebrated.

Chayenne,
Happy Spring! Winter is finally over and so we are out and about enjoying the sun. Penny has been very active the last few months. She is receiving speech and language therapy / developmental therapy once every two weeks. She is very bright but just needs a little support to encourage her to try new things and speech patterns. She has started going to a play group called TumbleTots, which incorporates her therapy and gymnastics.  Penny LOVES the outdoors. We take daily walks, and spend a lot of time outside. She also has become a stuffed animal hoarder : ) .   She has a favorite owl but often likes to carry bunch of them around.  We are are ready for summer time and some fun adventures.  As always wishing you well.
Happy Easter

Chayenne,

Happy New Year! Things have been busy and Penny is on the move! We had a fun trip to Ruidoso with a few other families and kids tried sledding for the first time. Penny and her friend Shelby took turns feeding each other snow.  Penny is developing a mischievous and funny sense of humor. She loves making people laugh. She is also becoming quite the dancer! She gets really in the zone with electronic music and she has been the life at the party! As always hope you are well.
