Happy New Year Chayenne! We hope you are having a great start to 2018. Pennyis one of the sweetest, most loving 4-year olds thatwe have ever known. At the same time, she is the only girl in her Preschool class and totally knows how to keep the other little boys in check. It's funny to watch how hard-wired her personality is, even from such a young age. Before she even knew what shoes, purses, or fashion were, she was drawn to them and will spend hours playing with her brothers using her vivid imagination.
The Stuve family is pretty big into costumes, Cosplay, Halloween, you get the picture!
This year for Halloween, our kids displayed "Wreck it Ralph", at least our 3 kids on the right. This was like day 5 of costume wear, plus some other face painting from the Farmer's Market, and their friends were all having a good time too.
Whenever she can get some quality Grandparent time, Penny loves it! This is a pic from last month at a local kid's fun zone with Todd's parents. Although I didn't have a picture of Todd's mom with Penny recently, Carolyn spoils her granddaughter with lots of love an attention. Carolyn is a Speech Therapist who provides the "ultimate grandma" experience when they get together.
Grandpa Frank (Tessa's dad) flew in from Hawaii recently to spend quality time with the family. He even got the privilege of touring Penny's classroom and meeting her friends.
Again, Penny will spare no opportunity to jump into a pretty dress and sported it with a smile on Easter this past year.
This past October, we were all a part of a special wedding in San Antonio with some close friends. Penny stole everyone's hearts as the Flower Girl, both beautiful and charismatic.
For Penny's 4th Birthday this past September, Penny only wanted a Pokemon-themed party. I'll have to check with Tessa's photos to share those moments, but here was a BDAY post where she wanted to showcase her princess tiara.
This year, Penny learned more about what it meant to participate in intentional Acts of Kindness for her birthday, one act of kindness for every year that you are old. Collectively, Penny, Lucas, and Elliot were able to spread positive vibes and Thank Yous to many different service providers in our community (e.g. - teachers, janitors, fire fighters, police officers, nurses, cafeteria workers, army, navy, and animal rescue shelters).
Penny is about to start her second season as a "Gila Monster", co-ed 4-year old soccer. We have a great team with coaches and parents that we all know and socialize with outside of the field. One of Penny's best friends, Shelby,
Penny and her cousin Maya are only 9 months apart and fast friends .
Penny is not very adventurous with food but Asian dishes are always great.
